When I received this box to review, I was excited… The box is exactly what the name implies, a curriculum fair in a box. There is a cross section of several different companies' products, all packaged separately and ready to read.
This is perfect for those of us who don't have access to a real curriculum fair. Instead of jostling books and kids and dodging elbows in a crowded, hot gymnasium, I was sitting down on a comfortable chair with a cup of hot tea and some cookies, looking through different curriculum samples.
These are actual samples of pages, so you can really see what the curriculum looks like, along with actual pages of the teacher's manuals, if there are any. I looked at samples from Switched-On Schoolhouse, Life Pac Curriculum, *, Konos, Weaver, Horizons, Oak Meadow, Core Curriculum of America as well as supplementary things from Brain Gym. Each curriculum supplier's products were in a separate package, so you won't get them mixed up, and the idea is to sit down and look through each package to see what would best suit your family. You get a page or two of math, and language, or in the case of unit study curriculum, you get a page with one or two days worth of actual work. The boxes are broken down by grade groupings, so you could order a box suited to where your family is.

People without access to the actual curriculum fairs would also benefit, as well as those with young children since you can look at the material within your own time frame instead of just a few allotted hours!

With this product, you can purchase a box and then take a look at what's out there before making a decision! The box also came with a few fancy pencils and balloons, as well as a few other little toys.
